摘要

Abstract

Mulberry leaf extract is a product obtained by extracting and enriching the active components in mul-berry leaves,mainly including polysaccharides,flavonoids,alkaloids,etc.It has multiple physiological func-tions such as anti-oxidation,anti-inflammation,immune regulation,and lipid metabolism regulation.Feeding mulberry leaf extract not only improves the performance and the meat and egg quality of livestock and poultry,but also effectively reduces the pollution of feces to the environment,promoting the sustainable development of livestock and poultry breeding.Therefore,this article reviews the main active components,biological func-tions,and application of mulberry leaf extract in livestock and poultry production,aiming to provide a refer-ence for the further development and utilization of mulberry leaf extract and its application in the healthy breed-ing of livestock and poultry.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2026,38(4):2416-2426]
