摘要

Abstract

With the growing severity of the global energy crisis and environmental issues,the development of clean and renewable energy conversion technologies has emerged as a research hotspot.As a promising strategy for solar-to-hydrogen conversion,photocatalytic water splitting hinges on the exploitation of high-efficiency and stable photocatalytic materials.Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have exhibited immense application potential in the photocatalytic field,benefiting from their unique merits including high specific surface area,tunable pore structure and abundant active sites.However,conventional fabrication methods for MOF suffer from drawbacks such as harsh reaction conditions and poor controllability over product morphology.By contrast,radiation technology,as a mild and high-efficiency material synthesis approach,has demonstrated remarkable advantages in the precision preparation of MOFs and their composite materials,relying on its distinctive reaction regulation mechanism.This paper systematically reviews the catalytic mechanisms and research progress of MOF-based photocatalysts for hydrogen production via water splitting,as well as the application of radiation technology in the fabrication of MOFs.More importantly,it for the first time summarizes and discusses the research advances in the utilization of MOFs and their composites prepared by radiation technology for photocatalytic water splitting toward hydrogen evolution.The present review aims to promote the interdisciplinary integration of radiation technology,crystalline porous materials and photocatalysis fields through relevant summarization,analysis and outlook,thereby providing valuable insights for the development of novel high-performance photocatalysts.
