Abstract
The drainage measures of the rivers in Guangzhou are significantly different from those in non-tidal areas due to the influence of tides.Designing the drainage system based on the existing drainage standards is not conducive to saving the investment in drainage facility construction.To effectively improve the urban flooding standards and drainage methods,this paper first summarizes the experience of water management during the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou.Based on the characteristics of the existing tidal rivers in Guangzhou and the drainage conditions,the rainfall and post-rain drainage time under different recurrence periods were calculated by selecting reasonable drainage modulus and rainfall duration parameters.The results show that the selected urban flooding standards comply with the regulations for drainage standards in megacities.The proposed urban flooding standards and drainage method improvement suggestions have important guiding significance and application value for improving the quality and efficiency of the drainage network construction and water environment in Guangzhou.关键词
