Analysis of Cylindrospermopsin Pollution Characteristics in Reservoirs of Eastern Guangdong Region

Abstract
This study conducted continuous two-year monitoring of cylindrospermopsin and environmental indicators(including nutrients and chlorophyll a)in 20 reservoirs across Eastern Guangdong,aiming to investigate the pollution characteristics and driving factors of cylindrospermopsin contamination.Key findings indicate:①Overall pollution levels in Eastern Guangdong reservoirs were low,but four reservoirs demonstrated notably higher detection rates with maximum concentrations exceeding 0.7 μg/L,warranting classification as high-risk reservoirs;② Cylindrospermopsin concentrations were significantly elevated during summer compared to other seasons;③Pollution exhibited significant basin-based clustering,with the Longjiang River basin representing a persistent risk zone while sporadic contamination occurred in other basins;④The key driving factors were chlorophyll a(r=0.81),water temperature(r=0.76),and total phosphorus(r=0.71).关键词
