Abstract
Due to the expanded port scale and the upgraded electrification level,electric power system requires a solution to insufficient reactive power,voltage fluctuation and harmonic interference.In response to the above demands,by analyzing the characteristics of the port power system during the operation,a specific application plan was proposed based on the working principle and the technical advantages of 10 kV dynamic compensation device SVG.Theoretical analysis was carried out for the compensation effect of SVG on the impact loads such as large-scale port cranes and conveyors,and the results were verified by referring to real project cases.It is concluded that the application of SVG helps raise the power factor up to over 0.95,reduce the voltage fluctuation by about 60%,in addition to that,effectively suppress the content of harmonic waves.Real data show that the application of SVG reduces the wire loss of port power grid by 12%~18%,and decreases the equipment failure rate by 20%.The dynamic compensation device SVG can significantly improve the stability and reliability of the port electric power system and provide a reference for similar projects.关键词
