摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Shenfu formula combined with antibiotic bone cement in the treatment of postoperative infections in lower limb fractures with deficiency of both qi and blood type. Methods Sixty eligible patients with postoperative infections following internal fixation of lower limb fractures in Wuhu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2023 to September December 2024 were randomly divided into two groups, with 30 patients in each group. After surgical debridement, the observation group received antibiotic bone cement filling and modified Shenfu formula, while the control group was treated with antibiotic bone cement filling alone. The Barthel Index, visual analog scale(VAS)scores, and inflammatory markers, including erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),and procalcitonin(PCT),were compared before and after treatment. The therapeutic effect of the two groups after treatment, the liver and kidney function indicators of the two groups before and after treatment,as well as the occurrence of adverse reactions such as allergy and aggravated wound ulceration between the two groups was compared. Results After treatment, the observation group exhibited a significantly higher Barthel Index and overall treatment efficacy rate compared to the control group(P<0.05).The VAS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,at two weeks post-treatment,the levels of inflammatory markers(ESR,CRP,and PCT)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).No obvious adverse reactions occurred in either group during the treatment process. Conclusion Compared to antibiotic bone cement treatment alone, the combination of Shenfu formula can safely and effectively improve wound healing in patients with postoperative fracture infections.关键词
