Effects of 3H high-quality nursing based on the Noddings'caring theory on comfort and family members'knowledge,attitude,and practice in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia

Abstract
Objective:Children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)often exhibit poor treatment compliance due to fear,resistance to unfamiliar environments and people,making management difficult,while conventional nursing shows limited effectiveness.This study aims to explore the effects of 3H(hotel,hospital,home)high-quality nursing based on Noddings'caring theory on comfort,fear,treatment compliance,and family members'knowledge,attitude,and practice in children with MPP. Methods:A total of 154 children with MPP admitted to Xiaolan People's Hospital of Zhongshan from February 2024 to March 2025 were selected and randomly divided into a control group(n=77)and a Noddings+3H group(n=77)using a random number table method.The control group received routine nursing,while the Noddings+3H group received 3H high-quality nursing guided by Noddings'caring theory.Nursing interventions were continued until discharge.Treatment compliance during hospitalization,as well as comfort levels and fear levels before nursing and at discharge,were compared between the two groups.Meanwhile,family members'knowledge-attitude-practice levels during the same period and their nursing satisfaction at discharge were also evaluated. Results:During hospitalization,the total treatment compliance rate in the Noddings+3H group was 80.52%,significantly higher than that in the control group(61.04%)(P<0.05).Compared with pre-nursing levels,at discharge,scores of psychological,physiological,spiritual,environmental,and sociocultural dimensions increased in both groups,with higher scores in the Noddings+3H group(all P<0.05).Fear scores related to medical procedures,interpersonal relationships,medical environment,and self were reduced in both groups,with lower scores in the Noddings+3H group(all P<0.05).Family members'knowledge,attitude,and practice scores increased in both groups,with higher scores in the Noddings+3H group(P<0.05).At discharge,the nursing satisfaction of family members in the Noddings+3H group was 96.10%,higher than that in the control group of 83.12%(all P<0.05). Conclusion:Under the guidance of Noddings'care theory,3H high-quality nursing could effectively alleviate the fear of children with MPP,improve their comfort and treatment compliance,enhance the knowledge,attitude,and practice of their families,and ultimately increase their satisfaction with nursing care.关键词
