摘要
Abstract
Slit guidance ligand 3(Slit3),a member of the axon guidance molecule family, not only plays a critical role in neural development, but also participates in a variety of physiological processes, including angiogenesis, cell migration, and organ development.Recent studies have demonstrated that Slit3 is downregulated in multiple types of tumors, which may be associated with promoter hypermethylation and microRNA-mediated regulation.By binding to Robo receptors,Slit3 is involved in regulating tumor cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition, thereby affecting tumor progression and therapeutic response. In addition,Slit3 has the potential to serve as a biomarker for prognosis assessment, early diagnosis, and molecular classification in various cancers, and may also represent a novel target for tumor-targeted therapy. However, its clinical application still requires further validation through large-scale clinical studies.A deeper understanding of the biological functions of Slit3 and its mechanisms in different tumors may provide a theoretical basis for its clinical application and offer new directions for Slit3-targeted therapeutic strategies.关键词
