摘要

Abstract

In order to compare differences among odorants and bioactivities of essential oils from different germ-plasms of Aquilaria sinensis,essential oils were extracted via hydrodistillation from Qi-Nan agarwood(produced from easily resin-forming germplasm)and ordinary agarwood(produced from common germplasm).Components of two agarwood essential oils were analyzed by GC-MS and HS-SPME-GC-MS.Odorants were screened and their properties were identified by olfactory analysis.Anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory activities of two agarwood essential oils were evaluated.Results showed that sesquiterpene compounds were predominant com-ponents in two agarwood essential oils,with minor aromatic compounds.2-(2-phenylethyl)chromone was only detected in Qi-Nan agarwood essential oil(QNAEO)while relative content of benzylacetone was higher in ordi-nary agarwood essential oil(OAEO).Odorants of two agarwood essential oils were composed of sesquiterpene,aromatic and aliphatic compounds.Odorants of two agarwood essential oils were mainly characterized by floral,woody and sweet odors.QNAEO had stronger fresh odor and OAEO had stronger grain odor.OAEO exhibited slightly higher anti-bacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus thanQNAEO.QNAEOshowed higher anti-inflammatory activity and slightly less cytotoxicity than OAEO.
