长江干线航道船行波及波能时空分布特征研究
Research on the characteristics of ship wakes and spatiotemporal distribution of wave energy of middle reaches of Yangtze River

Abstract
The ship-induced wakes coupled with river runoff would result in erosions of waterway infrastructures(e.g.,banks and embankment).The features of vessel traffic flows have been explored through automatic identification system(AIS)data in Jiepai reach of Yangtze River,China.By adopting the empirical ship wakes formula,the characteristics of ship wake heights and wave energy are discussed.The results show that approximately 65%of the ships'lengths fall in a range of 50~100 m,the vessel draft(D)generally ranges from 3~6 m,and the ship speed is generally low(FL<0.4).The wake height records larger than 0.05 m account for 55.11%in dry season,which is higher than that of flood season(48.21%).The maximum wake height is about 0.6 m in flood season.The number of ship wake shocks and accumulated wave energy in the flood season are greater than those of dry season.The ship wakes generally act on the right bank of Ji-angxinzhou,the lower left section of Luoshan,and the right shoreline from Luoshan to Nanmenzhou.The maximum cumu-lative wave energy could reach 380 kJ/m.The present study provides a guidance for the planning,construction and mainte-nance of waterway infrastructure,contributing to the resilient waterway transportation system.关键词
