Optimization of joint scheduling for yard cranes and automated guided vehicles with considering space sharing of similar container
摘要
Abstract
Containers with identical attributes,including size,weight,and destination port,are considered the same type.The shipping company's stowage plan allocates shared storage spaces for containers of the same type.Handling times vary for these containers,prompting terminals to optimize specific storage spaces for each container type.This paper addresses the joint scheduling of yard cranes and automated guided vehicles(AGVs),focusing on optimizing yard crane movements to minimize costs.Based on the results,a scheduling optimization model of multi-load AGV to minimize transportation costs is constructed.A two-stage optimization algorithm based on rolling time is designed to solve the model.In the first stage,GUROBI is used to solve the yard crane operation time of containers in each container block and the container placement/retrieval time at buffer racks.In the second stage,a variable neighborhood immune algorithm is designed to solve the schedule of multi-load AGV.The results taken from many experiments demonstrate that the joint scheduling optimization of yard cranes and multi-load AGVs con-sidering multiple attributes of containers can effectively reduce the waiting time of AGVs and decrease the cost of port loading and unloading operations by 590~1 090.关键词
