Research Progress on Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
摘要
Abstract
T cells affect tumor survival,metastasis,and drug resistance through interactions with other immune cells,and are involved in immune evasion mechanisms.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)shows unique advantages in regulating T cell function and improving the immune function of patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).By modulating the infiltration,activity,and proportion of T cells,TCM provides new possibilities for the treatment of NSCLC.However,current research still has some limitations.Although clinical studies have shown that TCM formulas,monomers,or acupuncture can regulate T cell subsets,most are combined with Western medical treatments.Studies using only Chinese herbal medicine or traditional formulas as controls are still insufficient.Moreover,clinical re-search is mostly limited to analyzing T cells in patients' peripheral blood and has not deeply investigated the related molecular mecha-nisms.In addition,there may be significant differences in TCM formulations,dosages,and preparation methods,which can introduce cer-tain biases in efficacy observation.At the same time,most studies focus on short-term efficacy,with limited data on long-term follow-up and safety evaluation,lacking scientific evidence based on evidence-based medicine.In basic research,the use of TCM to treat NSCLC via T cell subsets is still in its early stages,and the related molecular mechanisms are not yet clear.In the future,research should focus on how TCM regulates T cell subsets to combat NSCLC,identify more effective therapeutic targets,and provide a solid sci-entific basis for clinical applications.关键词
