"塞流、澄源、复旧"三法在溃疡性结肠炎脓血便治疗中的应用
Application of Three Methods of"Se Liu,Cheng Yuan and Fu Jiu"in Treatment of Purulent and Bloody Stool in Ulcerative Colitis

Abstract
Damp-Heat is the main pathological factor in the onset of ulcerative colitis(UC)and runs through the entire course of the disease.Clearing heat and removing dampness is often chosen for treatment,but in cases of severe UC with heavy gastrointestinal bleed-ing,simply clearing the damp-heat in the intestines is often unsatisfactory.UC has different disease characteristics at different stages,and bleeding is a dynamic process,so treatment should combine other methods based on syndrome differentiation based on clearing Heat and removing Dampness.The three methods of treating collapse,namely Se Liu,Cheng Yuan,and Fu Jiu,are closely related.In the ac-tive phase of UC,Damp-Heat stagnates in the intestines,prolonged stagnation transforms into toxic Heat and stasis,damaging the intes-tinal network,causing persistent purulent and bloody diarrhea.The priority is hemostasis to prevent depletion of Yin and loss of Yang,which should be addressed first by Se Liu;however,simple hemostasis risks leaving the underlying problem untouched,so Se Liu should be supplemented with Cheng Yuan.When the disease condition slightly eases,careful attention is paid to the disease mechanism,distin-guishing between deficiency and excess syndrome;for excess,it is treated by purging,clearing Heat and removing Dampness to eliminate it,and activating blood and resolving stasis to disperse it,ultimately to remove pathogenic factors and achieve hemostasis.After the ces-sation of purulent and bloody stool,Yin-Yang imbalance and significant deficiency of Qi and blood occur,and the focus should be on Fu Jiu,emphasizing the tonifying of the Spleen and Kidney.关键词
