摘要

Abstract

With the continuous growth of global energy demand and the accelerated development of offshore oil and gas resources,the in-service safety and reliability of oil and gas pipelines have attracted increasing attention.In marine environment,pipeline failure happens by the strong corrosive media containing CO2,H2S,and Cl⁻,pipelines using single-metal materials hardly meet requirements for high strength,corrosion resistance,and cost-effectiveness.Bimetal composite pipes achieve a balance between service performance and cost through their composite structure of carbon steel/low-alloy steel for load-bearing and corrosion-resistant alloy cladding for corrosion protection,and has been widely used in domestic and international oil and gas resource development.The structure and combination method,manufacturing process,welding technology and microstructure and properties of welded joints of bimetal composite pipes are reviewed.The microstructure evolution during welding and its influence on corrosion resistance and mechanical properties are discussed.The influence of microstructure evolution is explored on the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties during welding process,and the development suggestions are proposed for bimetallic composite pipes tailored for complex deep-sea operating conditions.
