摘要

Abstract

Incorporating clay into cement slurry enables a reduction in cement dosage,thereby alleviating environ-mental pollution.However,with the increase of clay content,the dispersion efficiency of additives(water reducers)in cement matrix may be inhibited,which adversely affects the performance of hydration products.In view of this,this study explored the effects of common minerals in bentonite and variations in water reducer dosage on the setting time of cement.Additionally,it investigated the qualitative and quantitative relationships between montmorillonite content and cement setting time through correlation analysis,and examined the influence of bentonite mineral composition on cement performance after the incorporation of polycarboxylate superplasticizers.The results show that among the mineral components,montmorillonite exerts the most significant impact on the hydration performance of cement,while other minerals such as kaolinite and illite have relatively minor effects on cement properties.As the montmoril-lonite content increases,the fluidity of cement paste decreases sharply.The presence of montmorillonite significantly shortens the setting time of cement,and there is a significant negative correlation between the two.Infrared spectros-copy analysis of montmorillonite after adsorbing polycarboxylate superplasticizers indicates that the-CH2-groups of the superplasticizers interact with montmorillonite.Zeta potential and conductivity tests on the montmorillonite-cement-superplasticizer system demonstrate that montmorillonite exhibits a significant adsorption behavior towards polycarboxylate superplasticizers,resulting in reduced dispersion in the solution system.This phenomenon is mani-fested as a sharp decrease in the fluidity of cement mixed with montmorillonite.
