Abstract

Based on correlation analysis of pollutants across four seasons,principal component analysis,correlation analysis between pollutants and meteorological factors,and air quality data statistics from the past five years in Yingkou,two typical heavy pollution events(one PM2.5 pollution event and one O3 pollution event)were selected.By employing trajectory modeling and potential source analysis methods,the sources and transport pathways of atmospheric pollutants were investigated.The results showed that through trajectory cluster analysis and potential source analysis,local source emissions were found to be relatively high during the PM2.5 heavy pollution period,with high-value areas concentrated in Yingkou itself,primarily originating from medium-to-long-range transport from the northwestern region.The 24 h forward trajectory clustering indicated that air masses would be transported eastward and southeastward in the next 24 hours.During the O3 pollution period,medium-to-long-range transport was observed from the southwestern and southern regions,while short-range transport was identified from the northern region.The high-value contribution sources were mainly concentrated in the Shandong area,indicating that this pollution event was dominated by external sources,with relatively small contributions from local emissions.The 24 h forward trajectory clustering revealed that air masses would be transported northwestward and northeastward in the next 24 hours.
