摘要

Abstract

To screen out the maize germplasm accessions with the plant height and ear height contributing to the high yield,we collected the phenotypic data and genotypic data of 215 maize germplasm accessions and conducted a genome-wide association analysis(GWAS)for the accessions excelling in genotype,disease resistance,and yield.The results showed that the 215 maize germplasm accessions were classified into six subgroups:SS,NSS,PA,Lancaster,Tangsipingtou,and Lyudahonggu.The GWAS of 134 elite accessions identified seven quantitative trait loci(QTLs)related to plant height and ear height.Among them,two QTLs overlapped with existing cloned genes,and five QTLs were newly identified.One QTL for both plant height and ear height was located in the same interval on chromosome 7.These QTLs provided a basis for the fine mapping of genes associated with plant height and ear height,underpinning the breeding of maize varieties with ideal plant height and ear height.
