Abstract
The main cable system of traditional suspension bridges has inherent structural design defects and the anti-corrosion measures are too simple,and most of the main cable systems suspension bridges have the problem of corrosion of main cable steel wires.This paper changes the structure of the main cable from the original open type to the enclosed type,and applies this polyurea material to the outer layer protection the main cable of the suspension bridge,which can effectively block the external water vapor from entering the internal system of the main cable of the suspension bridge.By cutting off its corrosion path it can greatly improve the anti-corrosion performance of the main cable system of the suspension bridge,and achieve the expected goal that the main cable system of the suspension bridge has same life as the main bridge.关键词
