Abstract
The parameter tuning method for fractional-order PID controllers is the key to improving the performance of fractional-order PID control systems for fractional-order controlled plants.This paper proposed a novel metaheuristic optimization algorithm based on the human behavior of information search for the tuning of fractional-order PID controllers,namely the information search optimization(ISO)algorithm.The ISO algorithm represented the information research process mathematically and devised some new mechanisms for both global and local exploration.Performance validation of the proposed ISO optimization algorithm was conducted on the parameter tuning problem of the PID controller.It can be concluded that the proposed ISO algorithm exhibits good feasibility,superiority,and application prospects in the field of parameter tuning for fractional-order PID control systems with fractional-order plants.关键词
