Experience of ZHU Huizhi in Treating Obstructive Sleep Apnea-Hypopnea Syndrome from the Perspective of Deficiency,Phlegm,Stasis and Stagnation

Abstract
Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)is a prevalent sleep-related breathing disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of apnea and hypopnea during sleep.Director ZHU Huizhi posits that OSAHS is rooted in a"fundamental deficiency"of the lungs,spleen,and kidneys,while presenting with"superficial manifestations"such as phlegm turbidity,blood stasis,and qi stagnation.From the perspective of the pathological progression involving"deficiency,phlegm,stasis,and stagnation,"she proposes the therapeutic principle of"invigorating the spleen to resolve phlegm and soothing the liver to activate blood circulation."In clinical practice,she emphasizes comprehensive analysis based on the four diagnostic methods and demonstrates remarkable efficacy through flexible medication use.关键词
