Abstract

The performance of fresh air products largely depends on the porous polymer membrane material in the total heat exchange core.In order to study the influence of membrane parameters,novel porous polymer membrane was prepared by coating a commercial battery separator with waterborne acrylic resin.By adjusting the formulations of the support layer and dense layer,the influence of the membrane's intrinsic parameters on its performance and the core's performance was confirmed.Additionally,quantitative models for the membrane's mass transfer performance-humidity efficiency and heat transfer performance-temperature efficiency were established using fitting formulas.To achieve a target improvement of 5%in both humidity efficiency and temperature efficiency,the water vapor transmission rate of the membrane needs to increase from 2155 g·m-2·day-1 to 2356 g·m-2·day-1,and the thermal conductivity needs to increase from 0.42  W·m-1·K-1 to 4.5  W·m-1·K-1.Furthermore,to meet the C1 leakage level requirement,the CO₂ transmission rate of the membrane must be below 1.047×107 cm3·m-2·24 h-1·0.1 MPa-1.
