玄武岩纤维高黏高弹超薄磨耗层路用性能试验研究
Experimental Study on Pavement Performance of Basalt Fiber Ultra Thin Wearing Course with High Viscosity and Elasticity

Abstract
To address the insufficient pavement performance of ultra-thin wearing courses under complex conditions such as high temperature,low temperature,and water damage,basalt fiber and high-viscosity high-elasticity modified asphalt were combined and applied to SMA-5 asphalt mixture.Pavement performance was evaluated through tests including rutting,uniaxial penetration,low-temperature bending beam,and immersed Marshall tests.Test results show that basalt fiber significantly improved mixture performance:high-temperature dynamic stability was increased by 13.0%,low-temperature failure strain was raised by 43.4%,and moisture stability was slightly enhanced by 2.4%.A synergistic effect between basalt fiber and high-viscosity high-elasticity asphalt was observed,further improving high-temperature stability(by 1.42 times)and low-temperature crack resistance(by 31.4%).Direct shear and cracking tests indicated that basalt fiber increased the shear strength of the mixture by 0.86~1.37 times and cracking resistance by 11.6%~19.8%.High-viscosity high-elasticity asphalt mainly enhanced crack propagation resistance,by approximately 28.3%~67.3%.This achievement is particularly suitable for road maintenance projects in areas with heavy traffic,high temperatures,and rainy climates,as well as for"white-to-black"pavement rehabilitation(overlaying asphalt on cement concrete pavements).关键词
