Abstract
For large-scale three-dimensional rotary braiding machine,span between the inner and outer layers of the chassis was large,when the yarn-carrying spindle was moving,the maximum catenary line change exceeded the tension adjustment range of traditional ones,leading to yarn slack during braiding,a yarn-carrying spindle with automatic yarn tension function was designed.Overall structure of the yarn-carrying spindle involved yarn storage device,bobbin device,tension detection device and control components.Wireless signal-based tension detection device and PWM-based yarn collection motor control were proposed,software and hardware of the control system were designed.Experimental results showed when the catenary line was lengthened as the yarn-carrying spindle moved,yarn tension of the spindle could be remained 0.15 N~0.54 N.When the catenary line was shortened as the yarn-carrying spindle moved,the motor of the spindle was triggered to collect yarn,the yarn tension could be kept between 0.12 N and 0.24 N,which verified the excellent automatic yarn tension performance of the new yarn-carrying spindle.It is considered that the development of the new yarn-carrying spindle for large-scale three-dimensional rotary braiding machine provides technical support for improving braiding quality and efficiency.关键词
