Abstract
In response to the potential risks existing in the initial design stage of a certain automotive Overmolding lampshade,the Moldflow software was used to conduct Overmolding analysis on the product.The preliminary analysis indicated that the wall thickness design of the black part of the product was uneven,and the temperature difference at the flow front was large,which would cause local trapped gas and temperature difference lines,and the weld line was visible at the upper part of the product.By altering the structure of the black part of the product and the local wall thickness,the resistance and distance of the melt flow are changed,and defects such as weld marks,trapped gas,and temperature difference lines are transferred to invisible areas.After analysis and optimization,a reasonable black part structure was obtained,reducing the risk of molding defects and improving the success rate of mold design.关键词
