朝鲜对中国典籍的辩诬及清朝之回应
Korea's Protestation and Refutation of Chinese Classics and the Qing Dynasty's Response
摘要
Abstract
Summary of the Twenty-One Histories by Zheng Yuanqing, compiled during the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, was initially created for children's education.Upon its spread to Joseon(Korea),the book sparked a dispute in Korea over its interpretation of the royal ancestral lineage. In response, the Qing government eventually determined that the issue of Joseon's ancestral lineage had already been recognized in The History of the Ming Dynasty and that, since Zheng's work was compiled during the Kangxi period and had not been widely circulated, there was no need for revision. In fact,Korea's protestation and refutation of its ancestral lineage was longstanding.During the Qing Dynasty,it underwent three major protestation and refutation campaigns, all taking privately compiled historical books as a pretext to demand an official clarification from the Qing court. The Joseon envoys received satisfactory replies each time. While Korea's protestation and refutation appeared to focus on correcting perceived errors in historical records,it was,in reality,a form of political maneuvering in its relations with the Qing Dynasty.关键词
