The"Late Qing Revolutionary Poetic Trend"and the"Continuous Writing"of Literary History

Abstract
The"Late Qing Revolutionary Poetic Trend"is an important literary phenomenon in modern Chinese literary history.However,due to the lack of systematic compilation of the modern newspapers and periodicals that supported its formation and dissemination,there was an ongoing issue of unclear origins and disconnected historical context in the academic understanding of this trend.Prior to the publication of Professor Hu Quanzhang's Studies on the Late Qing Revolutionary Poetic Trend(晚清革命诗潮研究),literary scholarship largely focused on the Nanshe(South Society,南社)and a select group of revolutionary poets.Hu's work conducted a systematic study on the role of newspapers,the poet communities,and the historical significance of this poetic trend for the first time,including positioning the Nanshe(South Society,南社)in its development context,and establishing the late Qing revolutionary poetic movement as"one of the major trends in modern Chinese poetry."Hu's study presents a literary phenomenon that has not been fully explored before but actually has significant influence,inspiring the continuation of literary history and prompting reflections on constructing a more diverse and inclusive perspective on literary history.关键词
