Development of an empowerment theory-based home nutritional management program for patients with liver cancer

Abstract
Objective To develop a home nutrition management program for patients with liver cancer based on empowerment theory.Methods After a systematic literature search,a preliminary program was formulated through literature synthesis and group discus-sions.Two rounds of Delphi expert consultations were subsequently performed to revise and improve the program according to the experts'feedback.Results The response rates for both rounds of expert consultation questionnaires were 100%.The expert authority coefficient for the second round was 0.93,with importance scores for each item ranging from 4.07 to 5.00,a coefficient of variation from 0 to 0.21,and a Kendall's W coefficient of 0.208(P<0.001).The feasibility scores for each item in the second round ranged from 3.71 to 4.93,with a coefficient of variation from 0.05 to 0.23,and a Kendall's W coefficient of 0.21(P<0.001).The final program consisted of 5 first-level,12 secondary-level,and 40 third-level items.Conclusion Empowerment theory-based home nutritional management program for patients with liver cancer constructed in this study exhibits reasonable scientific rigor and practical necessity,and provides references for clinical application.关键词
