Abstract

Scrapping agricultural machinery refers to the dismantling,recycling,or disposal of agricultural machinery that cannot meet production needs for a long time.The subsidy policy for scrapping agricultural machinery encourages farmers to eliminate old machinery and purchase new,efficient,and environmentally friendly equipment through govern-ment financial subsidies,thereby promoting the modernization and upgrading of agricultural machinery.This article ana-lyzes the background,mechanism,and implementation effects of the policy of scrapping and updating agricultural ma-chinery in different regions,and explores the impact of this policy on improving the efficiency of agricultural mechaniza-tion.The research results indicate that the policy of scrapping and updating agricultural machinery can significantly im-prove agricultural production efficiency and reduce operating costs by promoting the elimination of old agricultural ma-chinery and the introduction of new agricultural machinery.However,the application effect of this policy is influenced by factors such as the level of local agricultural machinery and equipment,the strength of policy implementation,and farmers'recognition.To further improve the effectiveness of policy implementation,it is recommended to strengthen technical support and improve the social service system to promote the comprehensive development of agricultural mecha-nization.
