基于LVDT位移传感器的金属线膨胀系数测量方法
A method for measuring linear expansion coefficient of metal based on LVDT displacement sensor
摘要
Abstract
Aiming at the problems existing in the determination of the linear expansion coefficient of metals in university physics experiments,a measurement method based on an LVDT displacement sensor is proposed.The LVDT displacement sensor is used to measure the deformation of the metal rod during temperature changes.To ensure uniform heating of the metal rod,a circulating self-priming pump is employed for cyclic heating of the water bath.The temperature of the metal rod is precisely controlled and measured using a PID temperature controller,and a curve of elongation versus temperature is plotted.Using this method,the linear expansion coefficients of aluminum and iron rods were measured respectively.The results show that this method has advantages such as high measurement accuracy,small relative error and simple operation.关键词
