摘要

Abstract

To address the issue of water entrainment in hydrogen during the Anion Exchange Membrane(AEM)water electrolysis process,a vertical gravity-based gas-liquid separator with an integrated corrugated plate module was designed.Based on the theory of gas-liquid two-phase flow and Stokes sedimentation mechanism,a three-dimensional numerical model of the separator was established.Through Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)methods,the influence of key operating parameters such as inlet velocity and liquid volume fraction on the internal flow field and separation performance was systematically investigated.By introducing a quantitative calculation formula for separation efficiency and conducting grid independence verification,the accuracy of the numerical simulation was ensured.The research results show that a lower inlet velocity is conducive to forming a stable gradient flow field,suppressing turbulence and secondary entrainment,thereby achieving a hydrogen purity of 98.9%at the outlet.Meanwhile,an appropriate liquid volume fraction can promote droplet coalescence while avoiding excessive entrainment.This study provides important theoretical and practical references for the design and optimization of efficient gas-liquid separators in AEMhydrogen production systems.
