摘要

Abstract

To address problems including slow response speed,large overshoot,poor disturbance rejection and time delay in the temperature control process of fermentation tanks,a Smith-fuzzy Proportional Integral Derivative(PID)controller was developed for the temperature regulation of fermentation tanks.First,the characteristics of the fermentation tank temperature control system were analyzed and the temperature transfer function was established.Next,a two-dimensional fuzzy inference engine was designed to determine input and output variables,fuzzy subsets,membership functions,and a fuzzy rule base was established.Subsequently,simulation models of traditional PID,fuzzy PID,and Smith-fuzzy PID controllers were constructed in the MATLAB-Simulink platform,and comparative simulation experiments were conducted.Research results indicate that the Smith-fuzzy PID control system exhibits smaller overshoot,faster response speed,better stability,and stronger disturbance rejection capability,enabling effective regulation of fermentation tank temperature.
