Effect of Plate Heat Exchanger Structure on Mechanical and Heat Transfer Performance

Abstract
To investigate the comprehensive effects of plate structure on the mechanical properties and heat transfer performance of heal exchangers,the Fluid-Structure Interaction(FSI)analysis method was employed to simulate and analyze the effects of plate spacing,plate thickness and corrugation pitch on equivalent stress,total deformation,and natural frequency.The heat transfer performance was evaluated in combination with the Performance Evaluation Criterion(PEC)for enhanced heat transfer.The results indicate that increasing the plate spacing can effectively reduce the equivalent stress and total deformation,while improving ŋPEC;when the plate thickness increases to 1 mm,the maximum equivalent stress of the plate decreases by 25.21%,the maximum deformation decreases by 31.71%,and the natural frequency increases significantly;However,the increase in corrugation pitch will reduce the number of contact points,leading to an decrease in equivalent stress and a decrease in ŋPEC.关键词
