摘要
Abstract
Considering the limitations inherent in conventional tension calculation methods for belt conveyors with concave and convex curves under complex operating conditions,particularly their inadequate consideration of dynamic processes and special terrain features,a refined tension calculation method was proposed to enhance equipment design reliability and economy.By establishing a condition-specific calculation model that comprehensively accounts for conveyor route characteristics involving concave and convex curves,load distribution,and operating status,professional software BeltStat V11 was employed to perform static and dynamic simulations of the case study conveyor,with particular emphasis on analyzing tension distribution under maximum power generation,maximum motor power,and braking conditions.The study demonstrates that the improved tension calculation method more accurately reflects the tension characteristics of conveyors with concave and convex curves under various conditions.Simulation results exhibit good agreement with theoretical calculations,with maximum tension deviation controlled within 10%.The proposed method and software validation process provide a reference for safe design and stable operation of belt conveyors with concave and convex curves.关键词
