Research on the Impact of High-Quality Development of Rural Tourism on Common Prosperity and Coordinated Development:A Case Study of the South Taihang Mountain of Henan Province

Abstract
[Objective]This paper explores the impact of rural tourism development in mountainous areas on common prosperity and the mechanism of their coupled and coordinated development.[Method]A comprehensive evaluation model and a coupling coordination degree model were constructed to quantita-tively assess the development of rural tourism and the level of common prosperity in the southern Taihang region of Henan Province from 2006 to 2022,as well as the coordinated development between the two sys-tems.The underlying influencing mechanisms were further analyzed using a panel regression model and a spatiotemporal Geographic and Temporal Weighted Regression model(GTWR).[Result]① The cou-pling coordination degree between high-quality development of rural tourism and common prosperity in the study area exhibits a gradual upward trend,transitioning from a dissonance stage to an increasingly coordinated stage,although it has yet to reach an optimal state.② Spatially,the coupling coordination degree demonstrates a distribution characteristic where it is higher in the south and lower in the north.③ The panel analysis results indicate that the high-quality development of rural tourism has a significant driving effect on common prosperity,and the impact of agricultural-tourism integration is the most promi-nent among all control variables.④ The factors influencing the coupling coordination degree exhibit spa-tial heterogeneity and a certain degree of temporal and spatial variability.Spatially,the influence inten-sity of economic development level,integration of agriculture and tourism,and environmental regulations demonstrates a gradual increase from south to north.In contrast,tourism energy consumption and forest coverage rate are higher in northern and southern regions and lower in central areas.Meanwhile,the im-pact of urbanization rateshows a decreasing trend from south to north.[Conclusion]Promoting robust in-tegration of agriculture and tourism industries will be crucial for achieving coupled and coordinated devel-opment between high-quality development of rural tourism and common prosperity moving forward.关键词
