Abstract
Gas turbine units are clean and efficient,with high efficiency of power supply,good peak shaving performance,and complementary coordination of power generation with wind and solar power.Thus the current problems of volatility,randomness,and uncontrollability that arise in the wind and solar power generation can be solved effectively by gas turbine units.The compressor is a key component in the gas turbine,and the inlet guide vane(IGV)can improve the surge characteristics of the compressor.The opening degree of IGV has important influence on the characteristics of gas turbines.The mathematical model of the H-class heavy duty gas turbine was first established.This was done by using the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform and mechanism analysis.The simulation results of the gas turbine were compared and analyzed with the design parameters.The error between the two was controlled within 0.5%,which indicated that the established simulation model met the simulation design requirements.Next,the response of parameters,such as the output power of the gas turbine at different loads,was compared with the actual measured values during operation.A maximum error of 1.29%was observed,which indicated that the simulation model had a certain degree of accuracy.Finally,the model was used to study the effect of the variable IGV opening on the characteristics of the compressor,which was to explore the operating characteristics of the gas turbine.关键词
