Study on the Impact of Green Finance on the Quality of the Marine Environment

Abstract
As marine environmental problems continue to intensify,green finance,as an important tool for promoting sustainable development,has received widespread attention from all sectors of soci-ety.Green finance is not only a key strategy to combat marine pollution and protect marine ecology,but also an important engine to promote the transformation and upgrading of coastal industrial struc-ture in the direction of green and low-carbon.The article analyzes the panel data of 11 coastal prov-inces(excluding Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2009 to 2020 by constructing the evaluation in-dex system of marine environmental quality and using the spatial econometric model and mediation ef-fect model,and finds that there is a significant positive spatial correlation between green finance and the improvement of the marine environmental quality,and that green finance can improve the quality of the marine environment through optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure.marine envi-ronment quality through optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.Based on the results of the study,policy recommendations are put forward to promote the innovation and development of green fi-nance,smooth the path of green finance,and enhance public participation,with a view to driving the improvement of marine environmental quality through the growth of green finance.关键词
