钙法Cannizzaro合成三羟甲基丙烷反应研究
Synthesis of trimethylolpropane via Cannizzaro reaction with calcium method

Abstract
The reaction process of trimethylolpropane(TMP)synthesis from formaldehyde and n-butyraldehyde via the Cannizzaro reaction with calcium method was optimized.Orthogonal experiments were first conducted to identify the key factors influencing TMP yield,followed by single-factor experiments to determine the optimal reaction conditions.Meanwhile,the reaction process was systematically investigated using GC-MS characterization and the peak height increment method,and the reaction mechanism was analyzed.The results show that the optimal conditions for TMP synthesis via the Cannizzaro reaction with calcium method are n(n-butyraldehyde)∶n(calcium hydroxide)∶n(formaldehyde)=1∶0.475∶3.5,the reaction temperature of 45℃,and the reaction time of 90 min.Under these conditions,the TMP yield reaches 91.6%,with good product color and no yellowing observed.The reaction pathway and the possible by-products are also identified,indicating that the self-aldol condensation of n-butyraldehyde was the main source of by-products.关键词
