Towards Civilizational Translation:Construction of a Generative Mechanism Model for Teaching Competency of General Education Course Instructors

Abstract
Based on a grounded theory study involving interviews with distinguished general education course instructors and focused on the generative mechanism of their teaching competency,a three-stage generative mechanism model termed"cognitive deconstruction-civilizational translation-pedagogical reconstruction"was constructed.It was found that the cognitive deconstruction mechanism,driven by reflective practical literacy,broke the cognitive silo of professional education through technological and pedagogical reflection;the civilizational translation mechanism facilitated knowledge transformation via three pathways:cultural integration,value embodiment,and cross-boundary innovation;the pedagogical reconstruction mechanism,leveraging ecological interaction literacy,fostered knowledge symbionts within a spatiotemporally integrated teaching field,endowing the competency with characteristics of self-organizing evolution.Accordingly,constructing a reflective practice system,reshaping the teaching ecology,and building dialogue platforms could provide practical support and theoretical guidance for the development of teaching competency among general education course instructors.关键词
