摘要

Abstract

To clarify the deterioration characteristics of porous asphalt pavement performance,this study employed a RIOHTrack to obtain key performance indicators of porous asphalt pavement(PAC13)under cumulative standard axle loads,including skid resistance,rutting resistance and roughness.A stage-wise comparative analysis was also conducted with two dense-graded asphalt pavements AC13 and SMA13.The results show that,during the loading process of 0~6×107 cumulative standard axle passes,the skid resistance of all 3 pavements experienced three stages of initial increase,fluctuating decline and slow recovery.Among them,PAC13 was affected by its skeleton-void structure,exhibited the fastest reduction in side-force coefficient and the lowest lateral force coefficient,whereas SMA13 maintained the best stability;In terms of rutting deformation,PAC13 showed rutting resistance comparable to that of SMA13 and significantly better than that of AC13 during the loading stage of 0~3×106 cumula-tive standard axle passes.Thereafter,the accumulation rate of rutting deformation slowed markedly,although slight rebound and fluctuations were still observed in the later loading stage;The roughness results indicate that PAC13 exhibited a decline in roughness at the initial loading stage,and increased gradually with the growth of cumulative standard axle loads.Under heavy traffic loading,raveling of surface aggregates adversely affects the driving comfort and safety.Although porous asphalt pavement exhibits favorable rutting resistance,long-term loading-induced ag-gregate loss and attenuation of macrotexture depth result in significant reductions in skid resistance and roughness.The service durability and structural optimization still need to be further studied.
