摘要
Abstract
To address the material and equipment constraints in the construction of bridge bent caps in resource-scarce regions of Guinea,West Africa, this paper aims to design a safe,reliable,cost-effective,and easily imple-mentable bent cap support scheme to replace traditional construction methods such as ground support brackets, hoop methods, and steel bar insertion methods.Taking a medium-sized bridge on a mining road in Guinea as the engineering context,a suspended steel platform scheme is proposed. In this scheme, multiple Ø32 mm round steel bars are suspended at the top of the pier columns and supported a double I-beam main girder at the lower section,on which closely spaced I-beam distribution girders to form a load-bearing platform.According to relevant stan-dards,the bearing capacity and deformation of each platform component are calculated, and the construction proce-dures and key points for the platform's assembly and disassembly are developed.Practice has proven that this sus-pended steel platform is flexible, convenient, simple construction, safe and reliable, making it suitable for re-source-scarce project locations and serving as a reference for bridge construction in similar regions.关键词
