Abstract
Chaozhou porcelain sculpture is an important branch of Lingnan art and handicraft.Its themes are not isolated ar-tistic creations but deeply rooted in the unique and profound folk culture of Chaoshan.This article aims to systematically explore how the folk culture of Chaoshan-including folk beliefs(such as temple processions and ancestor worship),clan concepts,life customs and local dramas-has profoundly shaped the themes,image creation and spiritual connotations of Chaozhou porcelain sculpture.The paper will analyze how the demands of folk culture drive the creation of porcelain sculp-ture,and how porcelain sculpture works,as material carriers,participate in the construction and inheritance of folk activi-ties.关键词
