Tram Speed Guidance Methods Considering Impact of Driving Behavior

Abstract
To address the problem of unstable section running times and the lack of coordination with intersections during manual driving,a tram speed guidance method considering the characteristics of driving behavior is proposed.An acceleration target speed is recommended to the driver to adjust the section running time,and brake positioning signs are set to assist the driver in achieving precise braking.The driving simulation experiments demonstrate that this method can effectively regulate driver behavior,reduce travel time fluctuations,and achieve the required precision for intersection signal coordination.To further evaluate the global signal adaptability of the method,a simulation deduction evaluation model using operational trajectories was developed and used to simulate 106 randomly generated signal phase offset schemes.The results show that the method can significantly improve the travel speed,energy efficiency,and time reliability of tram lines.Except for energy consumption,the improvements in other indicators increase with the reduction of the stop rates at intersections,indicating that this method delivers better operational performance on routes with coordinated signal green waves.关键词
