Abstract
This paper conducts an in-depth study on the calculation of train movement authority when the train equipped with the moving block system of heavy-haul railway passes through the neutral section.Building upon existing methods for calculating train movement authority in moving block systems of heavy-haul railways,it systematically analyzes the specific impacts of this special scenario in the neutral section on train operational safety.This study proposes the optimization of the dynamic selection strategy for the movement authority endpoint by precisely calculating the minimum speed(safe speed)required for a train to safely pass through the neutral section and the safe distance required to accelerate from standstill to the safe speed.This approach effectively prevents the accident risk of train stopping within the electrically-isolated neutral section due to the movement authority endpoint falling inside the neutral section.Under the premise of ensuring operation safety,this method helps to maintain or even shorten the train headway,thereby enhancing both the operational safety and the transportation efficiency of the moving block system of heavy-haul railway.The models and strategies proposed in this paper provide a more reliable theoretical foundation and key technical support for the engineering application of moving block systems for heavy-haul railways under complex real-world line conditions.关键词
