Screening of Brassica napus Germplasm Resistant to Phyllotreta striolata at Seedling Stage

Abstract
To screen rapeseed germplasm resistant to Phyllotreta striolata and ensure safe rapeseed production,resistance identification and evaluation were performed for 244 Brassica napus varieties(lines)under natural infestation conditions using a grading method based on the damage index and rel-ative insect-resistance index.The results showed that the tested materials were classified into five re-sistance levels,including one highly resistant variety(line),37 resistant varieties(lines),115 moder-ately resistant varieties(lines),78 susceptible varieties(lines),and 13 highly susceptible varieties(lines).Among them,'Zheyouza 108'and'Dadi 95'exhibited strong resistance,whereas'2017 Yuan 61-2'and'Rongzao 2'showed relatively weak resistance.A chi-square test further indicated that spring-type rapeseed varieties(lines)had significantly stronger resistance to P.striolata than other e-cotypes,suggesting that ecotype differences play an important role in determining the insect resistance of Brassica napus.关键词
