Exploration of Personalized Health Information-Seeking Behavior Model in the Context of GenAI

Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]Generative artificial intelligence(GenAI)has become increasingly integrated into public life,serving as an important tool for personalized health information search.Understanding users'personalized health information search behaviors in this context contributes to optimizing health information services in the intelligent era.[Method/Process]Texts related to"GenAI-customized recipes"were collected from Weibo and Xiaohongshu.Using computational grounded theory,data were analyzed through three stages—model identification,model refinement,and model validation—to extract users'motivations,behavioral processes,and experiences,and to construct a corresponding model diagram.[Result/Conclusion]Users'motivations mainly include health information needs,psychological regula-tion needs,economic benefits,and social support needs,which are jointly influenced by external social environments and internal user characteristics.Their search behaviors consist of three stages:platform selection,prompt design,and perso-nalized nutrition consultation.After searching,users form varied experiences in functional,emotional,and risk dimen-sions,which in turn influence subsequent motivations.In addition,the resource attributes,functional services,and techno-ethical features of GenAI systems significantly affect users'behavioral paths and experiential perceptions.关键词
