Research Progress on the Mechanisms Underlying the Antitumor Effects of Arbutin
摘要
Abstract
Arbutin is a natural phenolic glycoside widely found in various plants and exhibits antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and antitumor effects.In recent years,research on the antitumor effects of arbutin has become increasingly extensive,focusing on mechanisms such as inducing apoptosis in tumor cells,counteracting oxidative stress,inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and migration,regulating signaling pathways,and promoting cellular senescence.These findings suggest that arbutin holds potential as an antitumor agent.However,despite the identification of multiple biological activities of arbutin,the mechanisms underlying its antitumor effects remain contentious.This article provides a comprehensive review of the research progress on the antitumor mechanisms of arbutin,aiming to further explore its potential and mechanisms in cancer therapy,offer insights for future clinical translation studies,and promote the application of arbutin in antitumor treatments.关键词
