Abstract
A dual-polarized broadband wide-angle two-dimensional scanning phased array antenna in C-band is designed using dual-polarized slot-coupled cross-fed stacked antenna elements.The antenna element employs an orthogonal layered feeding method to separate horizontal and vertical polarization feeds,achieving square metal patch excitation and low cross-polarization characteristics through non-contact slot coupling.The operating bandwidth is effectively extended through parasitic patches.Based on the mirrored array arrangement method,mutual coupling between antenna elements is effectively canceled,improving the cross-polarization characteristics of the antenna array.Metal shielding vias are introduced around the antenna elements to reduce inter-element crosstalk during beam scanning and enhance beam scanning performance.A 4×4 phased array antenna prototype was fabricated and measured.Simulation and measurement results show that the antenna achieves a-10 dB impedance bandwidth of approximately 1 GHz.Within the operating frequency band,the cross-polarization level is below-40 dB.At 3.95 GHz,with a beam scanning range of±60°,the antenna gain degradation is 3 dBi in both the E-plane and H-plane.关键词
