Impact of braided shielded cable pigtail structure on cable crosstalk characteristics

Abstract
To establish an accurate electromagnetic model of pigtail structures and analyze their influence on cable crosstalk,this study systematically investigates the impact of pigtail configurations on crosstalk in braided shielded cables.Firstly,three dimensional modeling of the braided shield and its pigtail structures is performed,and full-wave simulations are conducted to examine the effects of pigtail length and quantity on cable crosstalk.Furthermore,an experimental scheme is designed to measure cable crosstalk under different pigtail lengths and quantities,with test data showing less than 2 dB deviation from full-wave simulation results.The research results show that the geometric modeling combined with full-wave simulation approach adopted in this paper can accurately simulate real-world cable crosstalk.Within the studied parameter range,each additional pigtail reduces crosstalk intensity by 5~7 dB,while every 1 cm increase in pigtail length increases crosstalk intensity by 2~4 dB.This study validates the accuracy of using geometric modeling with full-wave simulation for pigtail structure crosstalk analysis,providing an effective methodology for electromagnetic compatibility analysis and optimization of pigtail structures.关键词
