Abstract
A 3π band-edge oscillator employing an asymmetric arc-folded waveguide is proposed.By utilizing the asymmetric arc-folded waveguide,a 3π stop band is constructed,achieving high coupling impedance at the band edge and significantly enhancing the beam-wave interaction efficiency.Three-dimensional Particle-In-Cell(PIC)simulations of the beam-wave interaction in the oscillator are performed using CST Particle Studio.The results indicate that the oscillation spectrum is concentrated at 94 GHz.On this basis,optimization design targeting power enhancement is carried out.Taking into account high-frequency losses,the oscillator achieves a maximum oscillation output power of 578 W at 93.3 GHz.关键词
