Practical Approaches for the Protection and Inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage from the Perspective of Rural Revitalization:A Case Study of Xuzhou Mazhuang Sachets in Jiangsu Province

Abstract
The protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage(hereafter referred to as'ICH')is a fundamental objective and key initiative in rural revitalization,providing a solid foundation for leveraging traditional Chinese culture to support its sustainable development.Throughout history,ICH has been transmitted through living inheritance for millennia.However,due to modernization,the core values of ICH have gradually weakened,its scope for development has continually shrunk,and its base of inheritors has been severely depleted.The question of how to better protect and inherit ICH within the context of the rural revitalization strategy,thereby empowering rural revitalization efforts,has become an urgent contemporary issue requiring investigation.Taking the inheritance practice of ICH sachets in Mazhuang Village of Xuzhou City in Jiangsu Province as a case study,this paper analyses the practical approaches through which Mazhuang Village has revitalized ICH cultural resources and integrated ICH elements,thereby exploring feasible approaches to the protection and inheritance of ICH from the perspective of rural revitalization.关键词
